Here's my attempt at a 'vintage' Mexican love song. Unsteady strings and trumpets trade melodic phrases over a scratchy-sounding backing band. This was originally written for a biography about an elderly Mexican man with a larger-than-life reputation. Sweet and nostalgic, this one simply is what it is.
Features a wobbly string section, mariachi trumpets, rhythm guitar, plucked bass, and a faux scratchy old vinyl sound. This would be a perfect choice for any project about Mexico from another era.
